3rd of 3rd - Ambiguous meme tag

Diane at Diane’s Addled Ramblings didn’t want to do an official tag, so she tagged anyone who wanted to do a 4th photo of their 4th folder photo post. I’m taking her up on it. I already did my 4th of 4th a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t have a 5th folder at all, so I’m going to do my 3rd of 3rd.

It’s a brand new picture taken of my niece by my sister. Her “line” is called “Mom Couture”. It’s a repurposed Gymboree baby blanket with a designer duct tape belt, headband, bracelet and shoulder strap. Is the asymmetrical look still in this season? Well, take a look at this fantastic outfit and tell me it isn’t.

The girls are always bringing blankets to Cori and asking her to tie them on. Since they're blankets, they untie pretty quickly. So, when B brought Cori this blanket and asked her to tie it, Cori looked down and saw a roll of duct tape and had an idea. She wrapped the duct tape around and around the blanket so that it would stay on. As B started to walk away, Cori thought it looked like a dress with a belt, so she got to work on the accessories, making a headband and strap before taking the scraps and making bracelets and the flower for the belt. She had started working on a pocketbook, but she ran out of duct tape before she could finish it.

I know I'm biased, but seriously, is she not one of the cutest kids you've ever seen?

I love this picture... not just the 'dress' (which is adorable) but the 'look'... she's totally a model (except for the HUGE grin, as models always seem to look so dour). Even if I didn't know everything about B that I do, I would know, JUST from this picture, she has personality to spare!

Mel, she is extremely cute. I can see the family resemblance as well.
Enjoy the time with your nieces while they are cute little girls, as they grow up way to quickly.;)

she's got candy in her left hand, so that's pretty un-model-like too.

Z-Diane used to say that B looked a lot like me. I don't see it really anymore. I spend every bit of time with them that I can. If they lived closer than a 2 1/2 hour drive, they might not be able to get rid of me.
