Wordful Wednesday - Take 1

Since I seem to be suffering from ennui which seems to be zapping all desire to write anything, I thought I’d jump on the Wordful Wednesday train this week.

This is a picture taken of my sisters and me way,way back. It’s one of my favorites of the 3 of us. I was twelve, Sissy was ten, and Cori was just an itsy-bitsy 18 months old. I love that Cori is just totally cracking up at something, and Sissy is trying to hold it together, and there I am being all big sister and posing like I was supposed to be.

Check out Sissy’s crazy hair. My mom says my hair is pretty crazy too, but I don't think it is. So there!

This one was taken the same night. The miniseries Shogun was on tv and someone had just been run through with a sword. My parents' friend Mike snapped this picture right then. That’s why we have those disturbed looks on our faces.

And finally, me being me and Sissy being Sissy. Same as it ever was.

Love the pictures!!! It so sweet when that kind of laughter gets caught on film, and the look on you and your sister's face in that last one is priceless!

I just LOVED these photos! The hair is classic ... I'm going to have to dig out some of my old photos ... I had the same hair! Never gets old! This was great! Thanks for sharing!

Such beautiful sisters! I would guess this is taken in the 80's judging from the fashion. And hairstyles;)
Your youngest sister is so cute the way she is laughing in the first picture.
Sisters are the best of friends, as they have known you the longest and can keep your world in perspective; they are our reference point at all times.;)

Yep, those hairstyles and clothes - you can't disguise what decade that was!

I came here yesterday and saw those pics and they made me laugh...but I was on the phone thereby discouraging me from typing any kind of comment!
