Evolution of the Text Message

I'm so behind the times! I've just recently started text messaging. I almost hate to admit it, but I kind of love it. It's so immediate. I don't have to keep a list of things I have to ask people. I just text them and get an answer back right away. As these kinds of things so often make me think: what did I do before? So, here's a little history of text messaging. I'm sure I left out some and I put in some things other people wouldn't agree with, but it's just for fun, right?

Oh, what a great post! Absolutely love this lesson of "texting" history in pictures! Here in Europe we call it to send an "sms". Do not ask me what that means.;)) Happy texting!:)

HAHA!!! I loved it! You are very clever!

Have you resorted to the text lexicon yet, Mel? I text using proper grammar and spelling. Yeah, I know I'm strange. I did a whole post about it back in February!

Feel free to text me anytime you want. Don't always expect me to respond right away, though. I have to find my phone first.

When are you coming up for the party, btw?

So funny and creative!!! And I don't text ... I end up with all kinds of odd things and it takes about an hour to get out the smallest message. I'm still stuck in "e-mail."
